The Internet Transactions Act of 2023 (ITA) was signed into law to promote a more robust e-commerce environment in the Philippines. As the transitory period of the ITA concludes in June 2025, online merchants, e-retailers, e-marketplaces, and digital platforms must fully comply with the law to ensure a safer and more trustworthy e-commerce environment.

Our Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group proudly presents its latest installment of QT Talks for this significant legal development. Corporate and Commercial/M&A partner Ina Alexandra Dominguez and Dispute Resolution partner Camille Bianca Gatmaitan Santos, joined by Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Undersecretary Mary Jean T. Pacheco (former E-Commerce Lead), discuss key points of the ITA in a four-part video podcast series.

All episodes were filmed in August 2024.
