Manila, Philippines, 4 July 2023 - Quisumbing Torres Dispute Resolution Partner Jared Amoroso is among the 55 new members of the Young Singapore International Arbitration Centre (YSIAC) Council.

"I am extremely honored to represent the Philippines on the YSIAC Council," Jared said. "It is an opportunity for me and the lawyers in our Firm to spearhead activities that aim to connect young arbitration practitioners in the Philippines with like-minded professionals from other countries, and promote commercial arbitration and other ADR as preferred modes of dispute resolution.”

YSIAC provides a platform for young professionals to work together to address the unique challenges faced by the legal and business communities across a diverse range of jurisdictions and cultures. It has grown to more than 7,000 members from all around the world. The YSIAC Council is the central steering and coordinating body for YSIAC. Its call for council members attracted more than 250 applicants from 40 jurisdictions.
