Manila, 15 December 2021 - Divina Ilas-Panganiban, a Quisumbing Torres Intellectual Property, Data, and Technology partner, won an Elite IP Award from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) for Excellence in Leading In Teaching and Educating IP. The award recognizes hard effort and excellence in offering world-class IP lectures that have motivated attendees to become IP champions as part of IPOPHL's aim of developing an IP-inclusive society for the year 2021.

"Through the years, our team in Quisumbing Torres has always been ready to partner with the IPOPHL on its various initiatives and projects geared toward raising public awareness on the importance and protection of IP rights,” says Vina.

Vina continues to spearhead several discussions on pressing IP issues such as the proliferation of fake COVID-19 tests, vaccines, treatments, and equipment, e-commerce security and IP threats in the digital age, and IP enforcement online, allowing businesses, practitioners, and other interested parties to gain a better understanding of the current situation and how to best protect and enforce their respective IP rights.
